Day 1: Cappadocia - Nemrut.
Departure in the morning from Goreme. After passing Kayseri, you will visit the 13th century Seljuk Caravansarai "Karatayhan". The next stop will be in Pinarbasi for a short tea break, then a drive to Tekir for Lunch. You will then have the opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful scenery of the Tekir Valley. Then drive to Kahramanmaras to have world famous ice cream, then drive to Kahta. Another tea break, and then transfer to hotel and stay overnight.
Day 2: Nemrut - Harran. Very early departure up to the ruins. After you will leave the minibus, and walk for 25 minutes to the top where you will watch the beautiful sunrise between the colossal size statues and heads of the kings and gods. After sunrise, you will have free time to walk around and to take pictures. Then you will be driven back to the hotel for breakfast. Next is a drive to Kahta, on the way a visit to the ruins of the Arsemia Roman bridge of Cendere and Tumulus Tomb of Karakus, and a tea break in Kahta. You will then be driven to Sanliurfa-Harran, on the way a visit to Ataturk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle east. Then you will Continue on to hotel in Sanliurfa for lunch, afterwards a visit to Abrahams Cave and the legendary Pool of Sacred Fish, then a walk around oriental covered bazaar. Next is a drive to Harran, a village of fascinating Mud-Birck "beehive" houses mentioned in the book of Genesis where Abraham spend last years of his life. You will then visit the ruins of Harran including city walls, oldest Islamic university and the castle dated to eighteen century.
